Details-

Main office location (when needed to go in) is 5000 Broadway, 78209 in Alamo Heights.
Pay: $14/hour. Payment is biweekly. Mileage is reimbursed monthly at $0.585/mile.
We are flexible to work with you on hours, though this position will be primarily Monday-Friday business hours. We understand that some applicants may be college students and will need to work around school schedules.
We are looking to hire secondary staging assistant and this position will range approx 15-25 hours.
Dress code: casual; lightweight on moving/staging days. We will wear casual business on days we go to the office or meet with clients (not as often for this position)
Staging/moving is the primary focus of this role, however, there are some real estate components that will intertwine with the weekly duties

Characteristics & Job Needs-

A flexible attitude is key! Our schedules stay within the work week but the tasks fluctuate greatly throughout the day depending on what needs to be done
Able to handle multiple projects happening at once, we often have about 20 different transactions going all in different stages (we have checklists to keep organized!)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic & drive.
Reliable transportation, we use our own cars to get to/from locations as well as moving staging pieces. Mileage is reimbursed monthly at $0.585/mile.
We use a truck to drive larger pieces to houses. You will need to be comfortable driving an average-sized truck.
Hard worker and a good attitude! Staging and prepping a house can be physically draining. On a scale from 0-10, move-out/move-in days can be around a level 8 for physical demands as we are lifting & moving furniture. It can sometimes involve mild touch-up cleaning, though not very often.
An eye for design – experience in something like interior design, art, photography, painting, etc…. there is certainly an artistic component to staging homes and coordinating palettes and layouts of rooms
Attention to detail during training, staging, and prepping is a must! The ability to organize is very crucial as we have a lot of small inventory pieces that must stay orderly.
Your own laptop & smartphone- we are frequently using our computers and phones to communicate and keep things organized.
Must be familiar with basic admin/computer skills- Google Drive, spreadsheets, basic database skills
Real estate experience is not required at all. Everything will be trained. A teachable attitude is a must!

Examples of Tasks for this position-***Will train the employee on all these tasks
STAGING-

Packing, prepping, and moving staging equipment
Keeping storage facilities organized
Blowing up beds, setting up furniture, unrolling rugs, hanging pictures, etc…
Taking “after” pics for staging
Doing light cleaning during move-in/move-out of furniture (sometimes, not always)

Researching special homes online and at King William conservation library
Printing/building property binder
Getting keys made
Dropping off binders & brochures, masks, shoe covers, buying sanitizer
Printing and delivering comps to listings before appraisals
Removing lockboxes
Buying closing gifts and delivering to title before closings
Delivering Open Sunday riders for Open Houses
Caravan graphics & print outs before tours
Print listings books
Writing to expired listings for new business
Print showings when needed
