JBS Executive Detailing is an Aviation Detailer. We detail commercial and general aviation aircraft nationally and we are looking for an experienced aviation person who knows airport, FBO, and aircraft characteristics.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Operations Manager your home base will be in Phoenix, Arizona. There will be travel as required for setting up and establishing operations in multiple states. Knowledge of airport operations, TSA security, FBO understanding and general aviation experience is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Operations – setting up multiple state operations includes a local base for employees, materials, equipment.
· Training – is an essential element of our services. Training will be provided and deployed for all employees. Employees will know the right materials and equipment for specific jobs. The Operation Manager is responsible for local training and audits.
· Clients – must have customer relations experience. There will be multi-interfaces with airport personnel, clientele management, FBO operators, and airplane owners/operators.
· Scheduling – a key element to our ability to meet client demands centers around scheduling the JBS Team, the aircraft, its location, date and time of availability. Knowledge of scheduling and its demands is essential to this position.
· Planning – this is a management position and short-term and long-term planning sessions will be periodically conducted and positive input is highly recommended.
· Communications – is essential for this position. There will be several key contact personnel with the airport, security, FBOs, Clients (commercial, charter), airplane owners/operators and JBS Executive Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
HARD SKILLS
· Problem Solving – includes working with cross-functional operational personnel to quickly resolve issues and provide resolution.
· Scheduling – aircraft, airport, crews, FBOs. Knowledge of scheduling is essential. Training on JBS’s host scheduling system is required. Must know how to schedule Requests, Quotes, Jobs, Crews and Aircraft/Airport destinations.
· Inventory Responsibility – adequate supplies, materials, equipment and crews at each location.
· Equipment Maintenance – scheduling required maintenance for proper operations is critical. Equipment must always be in best operation. Also includes vehicles and trailers.
· Employees must have a cell phone. Cell phones are required for time-clocking for Jobs and is essential for payroll.
SOFT SKILLS
· Operations Manager must be very knowledgeable on the use of back-office applications, e.g., MS: Word, Excel, Scheduling and Project Management.
· Supervision – at least 2 years of direct supervision of staff is required. Includes assessment of employees’ work standards, audit work, performance evaluations.
· Budget Preparation – quarterly reports from each operational location will be submitted to JBS Management for review. Yearly management meetings will physical presence and performance review will be presented as part of the agenda.
· Problem Solving – is repeated as a Hard and Soft skill because it is a Key-Success-Factor (KSF) for this operation.
· Serve as Ambassador for JBS – JBS management expects the Operations Management to conduct himself/herself in a professional manner, respecting an honoring JBS’ values.
· Hire and Train – hiring employees that endorse JBS’ values and are acceptable to repetitive updated training and application of trained techniques is a key responsibility.
· Present Opportunities – to JBS Management to expand or shift course to take advantage of changes in the market.
The ideal candidate for the position of Operations Manager will be a person who is self-directed, knowledgeable about the aviation industry, is looking for travel and start-up operations tasks and enjoys meeting people and likes challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
