LYTT is a growing technology start up backed by bp and we need someone who thrives on sales success to help us close opportunities in our sales pipeline. We are embarking on an exciting period of growth and aim to double our headcount in what’s left of this year (25 lovely humans to 50) and again next year (50 to 100). Ideally this is a permanent role based in the UAE and you’ll be responsible for building your own pipeline of sales opportunities and closing/winning high value deals in the region to enable our success. We would love for you to have proven experience in selling a range of technologies to the main oil and gas and partnerships in the region, as well as a growth mindset to help us go from good to great in all aspects of sales.
Ultimately, we’re looking for a brilliant, well rounded sales person to be our first person on the ground to help us evolve and deliver our sales strategy for our next stage of growth (which includes moving into adjacent markets, such as renewables).

We use fibre optic cables inside oil wells to act as a distributed array of microphones. Drawing on advances in AI, machine learning and cloud based computing we have designed and deployed ground-breaking technology that interprets data captured from these cables deep under the earths surface into actionable information. Responsibilities
Meet or exceed sales targets by selling complex, technical B2B technology – both domestically and internationally – whilst independently managing all stages of the sales cycle.
Work with senior leadership teams to develop a customer proposition, ensuring value creation for the business and outstanding satisfaction for the customer.
Prepare and present regular sales insights and company performance reports, defining action plans to improve our levels of customer and revenue growth.
Gather market information about competitors’ rates, competitor and industry utilization, ongoing projects and future proposals.
Work with other sales team members to develop a coordinated sales strategy for major accounts.
Assists in the development and execution of the general sales and marketing strategy.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies, trade shows and industry events.
Collaborate with agile product and development technology teams to develop and evolve new technology product offerings within existing and new lines of business.
Requirements
Demonstrable experience delivering outstanding enterprise sales performance in both a domestic and multinational sales environment.
Exemplify fluency in the oil and gas industry, with a deep understanding of processes, business problems, and data challenges faced by companies across the industry value-chain.
Possess, and be able to leverage, strong working relationships with leadership teams at target customers, which will include E&P operators, NOC’s & oilfield service companies in the Middle East.
Demonstrable success of engaging with, and successfully selling technology solutions to a wide range of customer roles (C-suite, Executives, Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners, Business Unit leaders) within the Oil & Gas industry.
